Want a quick and easy meal that is pretty nutrious for your children? Well I discovered this when I was working in a child care centre where they fed the children. They had to serve them up food was balanced but that kids would eat. Once I served it up to mine kids, it has become a quick family favourite.
All you need is:
- 1 can of baked beans (you could always use a bean mix of some sort and make up a tomatoe like sauce)
- A packet of corn chips
- Grated cheese
- Extra - Sour Cream
|
Spread the baked beans over the top of the corn chips. |
|
Sprinkle the grated cheese over top. |
|
Put it under the griller. |
|
Once the cheese is melted and golden brown it is ready to serve. You can now add sour cream. |
|
My kids love it. |

Oh yeah, my kids love nachos, too!! I've never thought of using baked beans, though...we usually use refried pintos or else black beans, I'll have to try that next time. Thanks for dropping by my place...glad to find yours =)
ReplyDeleteHi Jamarah,
ReplyDeleteGreat recipes for nachos. I have two boys, one with Autism and he's a picky eater, but this one sounds great. Sour cream is like a separate food group in our house! Thanks for sharing. I am your newest follower from Tara's Weekend blog hop. Stop on by my blog and follow if you like!
